Nuffnang ad code placement tips
Nuffnangers (i.e. bloggers who have Nuffnang ad codes on their blogs/websites) would have received this email from Nuffnang sometime in April.
I highly recommend that all bloggers with Nuffnang MY ads switch to the new code, since the old code seems to be slower. I'll include a brief tutorial here for Blogger.com users.
Dear Nuffnanger,
...
With the constant need to be better, we are launching brand new Ad Codes! These new Ad Codes are optimized to load without affecting the rest of your blog’s content to load. You can find these new codes at the Add Ad page in the blogger area at http://www.nuffnang.com.my/blogger/add-ads/.
The existing Ad Codes will be functioning as per usual but we do advise all bloggers to change to these new codes.

Ubuntu 12.04 Screenshot Tour
This is a short slideshow of the features available in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. The recent improvements in Ubuntu, including better performance, resolved power problems and a more refined Unity interface, make it a compelling option to Windows for those unwilling to switch to the Windows 8 Metro interface in the near future or those who wish to have a Mac-like interface without buying a Mac.
Installation is a breeze, with CD-sized downloads available from http://www.ubuntu.com/ in 32-bit and 64-bit variations. Upgrading from Ubuntu 10.04 LTS and 11.10 LTS is supported as well.
Please enlarge the slideshow to fullscreen.

Ubuntu One - your files in the cloud, for free
Ubuntu One is a multi-platform online file storage service. It supports Windows, Ubuntu, Android, iPhone and iPad devices.
It offers 5GB of free online storage space, plus integration with the Ubuntu One music store.
What's interesting about Ubuntu One is that you can use it to back up parts of your Ubuntu system easily and silently, if you're on Ubuntu. Also, you can share selected files with friends and family (duh).
A contacts sync system between desktop, Facebook and mobile is in the works, so keep a lookout for that.
Using Ubuntu One has certain advantages and disadvantages compared to Skydrive (25GB storage space, but no Android app) and Dropbox (only 2GB storage space, but can be extended to 16GB if you invite enough friends, 500MB extra per friend), but it's certainly worth a shot.
